Deputy Jake Wingert
        K-9 Gulliver

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office has had the services of a K-9 since the late 1980's and currently has two certified K-9's on staff. Gulliver is a German Shepherd that is handled by Sheriff's Deputy Jake Wingert. Neiko is a Dutch Shepherd that is handled by Sheriff's Deputy Matt Struve.  All of the K-9's past and present have been certified by the United States Police Canine Association.

The K-9 program serves the Plymouth County Sheriff and his deputies in several ways such as: Apprehending criminals, the detection of narcotics, searching for persons lost or missing, searching buildings/residences and doing community service programs for many schools and service groups. It is a great public relations tool for the sheriff's office.
