Sheriff's Assistant/Clerk

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a full-time Sheriff's Assistant/Clerk position.  Responsibilities include:  processing documents from the court for civil and criminal action, prepare deputy incident and arrest reports, making bank deposits and financial reports, and front window receptionist.  (See link below for a complete job description.)  Experience in data entry, civil/criminal law and clerical work is preferred but not required.  Applications will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on March 31, 2020.

Reserve Officers

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office together with the LeMars Police Department are currently accepting applications for the position of Reserve Officer.  Applications and qualifications can be obtained online from the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office website or picked up in person at 451 14th Ave NE, LeMars IA 51031.   Applications must be turned in by April 1, 2020 at the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office. 

Communications Dispatcher

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for
a full time Dispatcher/911 operator. Responsibilities include but
not limited to: receiving 911 and administrative calls, operating
CAD dispatching software, maintain IOWA/NCIC records, paging
ambulance & fire departments, and working under stressful
situations. Shifts involve days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A
