Johnson single vehicle accident

On October 26, 2010 at 6:37AM, the sheriff’s office was advised of a one vehicle accident with injuries on C60 near Tamarack Ave.  The driver, Donald Johnson, age 77, of rural Marcus was west bound on C60 and lost control of his 2005 Ford Taurus.  The vehicle entered the south ditch, rolled once and came to rest on its top.  Johnson was trapped in the vehicle and the Kingsley Fire Department had to use the Jaws of Life to extricate Johnson from the vehicle.  Johnson was then taken to Mercy Medical by Kingsley Ambulance with what is believed to be non life threatening injuries.  Johnson’s vehicle is listed as totaled.
