On 4-17-16, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Angelic Marie Peterson, age 23 of Peterson, IA and Anthony Martin Paulson, age 24 of Spencer, IA. At 7:43 pm, a Plymouth County Deputy stopped Peterson for equipment violations on Hwy 75 in Merrill. As a result of the traffic stop, Peterson and Paulson were found to be in possession of approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine. The Plymouth County K-9 Unit was called to the scene and assisted in the traffic stop.
Peterson was charged with possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver (class B felony), failure to affix a drug tax stamp (class D felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). Her bond was set at $25,000. She was released on her own recognizance the following day.
Paulson was charged with possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver (class B felony), and possession of drug paraphernalia (class D felony). His bond was set at $25,000. He was also released on his own recognizance the following day.
