On December 1, 2018 at approximately 9:44 a.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office was called in reference to a crash at Highway 75 and C12.  The crash involved a semi/trailer that had jack knifed and was blocking Highway 75.  The driver, Gregory Whisnant of Hermitage, TN, had lost control.  Mr. Whisnant was uninjured from the crash.  The trailer he was pulling went into the west ditch causing damage to a street sign.  The semi/trailer came to a rest across Highway 75 blocking northbound and southbound traffic.  Stockton Towing removed the semi/trailer from the scene.  At around 11:30 a.m. the scene was clear.
