Mackett arrested for OWI and drug charges

On 12-9-2018, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alec Mackett, age 26 of Howard Lake, MN.  At 5:42 am, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a vehicle in the ditch with a possible impaired driver.  Upon arrival and investigation, deputies found Mackett to be stuck in the ditch.  Mackett was found to be under the influence of methamphetamine and marijuana.  Mackett was also found to be in possession of methamphetamine, a large amount of marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.  Mackett was arrested and jailed at the Plymouth County Jail. Mackett was charged with the following criminal charges:

  1. Possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver (Class D Felony)
  2. Possession of methamphetamine (serious misdemeanor)
  3. Possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor)
  4. Operating a motor vehicle while impaired 1st offense (serious misdemeanor)
  5. Failure to affix a drug tax stamp (Class D Felony)

Alec Mackett was seen by a judge and held on bail in the amount of $5,000.
