On 1/14/19 at approximately 10:00 p.m., a Plymouth County deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on K22 and 325th Street for a traffic violation. An odor of marijuana was observed by the deputy and two subjects were detained inside the vehicle. Upon a search of the vehicle, a small amount of a green, leafy substance believed to be marijuana and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking marijuana were recovered. The vehicle occupants were identified as Zachary Sortino of Overland Park, Kansas and William King of Centerville, Georgia. Sortino and King were then placed under arrest and transported to the Plymouth County Jail where both were booked for possession of marijuana first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
