Loutsch and Vancleave arrested on multiple charges

On June 20 2019, at 8:29 p.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office arrested Jay Loutsch, age 54, from Remsen, Iowa, for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and interference with official acts.  On June 20, 2019, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office responded to a fight in progress at 16265 L12 in Remsen, Iowa.  A Sheriff's Deputy arrived on scene to see both parties were separated. Jay Loutsch, age 54, of 16265 L12 in Remsen, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness and interference with official act.  Kim Vancleave, age 50, also from 16265 L12 was arrested for assault causing bodily injury, interference with official acts and assault on persons of certain occupations.  Both individuals were transported and booked into the Plymouth County Jail.
