On 9/5/19, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle in Remsen, Iowa due to a traffic violation. The driver of the motorcycle was identified as Russell Landon Mohr, age 38 of Mapleton, IA. The Plymouth County Communications Center verified Russell Landon Mohr had a barred Iowa driver's license.
Upon further investigation, Russell Landon Mohr was found to be in possession of a white crystalline substance believed to be methamphetamine and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. Russell Landon Mohr was then placed under arrest, transported to the Plymouth County Jail and booked for driving while license barred, possession of a controlled substance - methamphetamine 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a non-registered motor vehicle.
