Noah arrested on a warrant, interference and drug charges

ON 10-23-2019 AT APPROXIMATELY 12:28 A.M.,  A PLYMOUTH COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPUTY ENCOUNTERED A SUBJECT IDENTIFIED AS JEREMY JASON NOAH, AGE 41 OF SHELDON, IOWA, WHILE PATROLING NEAR WALMART STORE IN LE MARS, IOWA.  DURING THAT ENCOUNTER, NOAH WAS SUSPECTED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND TO HAVE AN ACTIVE WARRANT FOR HIS ARREST FOR A PAROLE VIOLATION FOR THEFT IN THE 2ND DEGREE AND BURGLARY IN THE 3RD DEGREE.  NOAH ATTEMPED TO ESCAPE CUSTODY BY RUNNING ON FOOT.  HE WAS GIVEN MULTIPLE WARNINGS TO STOP PRIOR TO BEING APPREHENDED BY A SHERIFF'S OFFICE K9.  UPON BEING TAKEN INTO CUSTODY, HE WAS FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.  HE WAS TREATED AT FLOYD VALLEY HOSPITAL FOR MINOR INJURIES PRIOR TO BEING BOOKED INTO THE PLYMOUTH COUNTY JAIL ON HIS WARRANT AND THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES OF INTERFERENCE WITH OFFICIAL ACTS AND POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA.
