Bossow and Grosvenor arrested on multiple charges

On November 24th, 2019, the Plymouth County Sheriffs Office received a report of a burglary to a residence in rural Plymouth County. Plymouth County Deputies responded to the scene and investigated. On November 27th, 2019, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office received another report of a burglary to a residence in rural Plymouth County. It was learned that this burglary was similar to the burglary complaint received on the 24th of November. On November 28th, 2019 around 04:15 A.M., a deputy with the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office was on patrol and observed a suspicious vehicle in the Hinton area and made contact with a Red GMC Envoy. The deputy conducted an investigation and identified the subjects inside the vehicle as 41-year-old Jens Bossow of Omaha, Nebraska and 37-year-old Amanda Grosvenor of South Sioux City, Nebraska. Bossow was arrested and charged with trespassing and Grosvenor was arrested for an outstanding warrant and later charged with introduction of contraband into a correctional facility.

As a result of the arrests, a search warrant was executed on the Red GMC Envoy and several additional search warrants were executed during the course of the investigation. Search warrants were executed in South Sioux City with the assistance of the South Sioux City Police Department. Deputies recovered thousands of dollars' worth of property and learned that additional burglaries and thefts had occurred in the rural Plymouth County area along with Woodbury County area.

As a result of the investigation:

Jens Bossow was charged with 5 counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree, 3 counts of theft in the 2nd degree, 3 counts of theft in the 3rd degree, 1 count of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, 1 count of criminal mischief in the 5th degree, 1 count of forgery, 1 count of unauthorized use of a credit card, and 1 count of possession of burglary tools.

Amanda Grosvenor was charged with 4 counts of Burglary in the 3rd degree, 3 counts of theft in the 2nd degree, 2 counts in theft 3rd degree, 1 count of criminal mischief in the 3rd degree, 1 count of criminal mischief in the 5th degree, and 1 count of possession of burglary tools.

Jens Bossow and Amanda Grosvenor are currently being held in the Plymouth County Jail.

The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Sgt. Bluff Police Department, Sioux City Police Department, and South Sioux City Police Department.
