Mannion arrested for OWI 1st offense

On 06/27/2020, the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office received a call of a hit and run accident that had occurred at Kellen's Ponderosa. The suspect vehicle left the scene and drove northbound into Le Mars. The Le Mars Police Department was able to locate this vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on it on Hawkeye Ave in Le Mars. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a Dylan Eugene William Mannion, age 21 of Sioux City Iowa. Dylan Mannion showed signs of impairment and was investigated by the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office for impaired driving. Upon further investigation, Dylan Mannion was placed under arrest and transported to the Plymouth County Jail where he was booked for OWI first offense. The Plymouth County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Le Mars Police Department and Le Mars Fire Department.
