On July 11th 2010 at approximately 2008 hours a Plymouth County Deputy observed vehicle traveling north on K49 from C60 at a high rate of speed. This vehicle was stopped on 280th St just east of K49. The driver was found to have a barred driver’s license in Iowa and as a result was arrested. During a search of the vehicle Deputies found a substance believed to be marijuana in the vehicle. The driver, Nathan Loutsch age 28 of rural Hinton was transported to the Plymouth County Jail and charged with the following.
OWI(drugged) 3rd offense a class “D” felony
Driving while license barred an aggravated misdemeanor
Possession of a controlled substance marijuana a serious misdemeanor.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Le Mars Police Department. Loutsch was held to see a judge.
