Two subjects arrested for meth lab

On 8-16-10, Paul Anthony Lott, age 42, from Oklahoma, and Cheri Rene Lott, age 50, of Oklahoma were arrested in Plymouth County.  At 1:37pm, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a motorist in need of assistance at Hwy 3 and the Hwy 75 bypass.  Deputies found a U-haul van occupied by the defendants.  The U-haul van was found to be stolen from Colorado.

Upon arresting the defendants, deputies found a methamphetamine lab in the back of the U-haul van.  The LeMars fire chief was called to assist at the scene.  The U-haul was taken to a safe location where the methamphetamine lab was made safe.  Both defendants were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a class “B” felony, possession of precursors lithium, a class “D” felony, and operation without owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor.
