The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office along with the LeMars Police Department, Merrill Police Department, Hinton Police Department, and Akron Police Department conducted a Special Traffic Enforcement Project on September 3, 2010.
A total of fourteen (14) officers participated in this project that covered an area from the Woodbury County line on Highway #75 to the Sioux County line on Highway #60. This project was held with the state wide project for the start of Labor Day weekend. These types of projects are held to help reduce traffic fatalities and drunk driving.
