On 9-26-10 at 9:48 am, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch at L14 and 140th Street north of Remsen, IA. Upon arriving, deputies found a vehicle that had been stuck in the mud on a level “B” road. Two of the occupants were found to be in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Cody Rinnels, age 19, of Remsen, was arrested and charged with PCS marijuana (serious misdemeanor) and possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). Randall Messelhiser, age 17, of LeMars, was cited into juvenile court for PCS marijuana 2nd offense. Messelhiser was released to a parent and Rinnels was booked into jail. Bond on Rinnels was set at $1,000. |
