On 06/21/23 at 11:10 p.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Timothy Lawrence David Weems, age 31 of Akron, Iowa, on a valid Plymouth County warrant.  The warrant is for domestic abuse assault – injury or mental illness 1st offense.  Weems was booked into the Plymouth County Jail and held to see the judge.

On 06/21/23 at 11:10 p.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Jeffery Stanton, age 44 of Le Mars, Iowa, on a valid Plymouth County warrant.  The warrant is for operating while under the influence 1st offense. Stanton was booked into the Plymouth County Jail and held on bond.

On 06/12/2023, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a single vehicle motor vehicle accident in the 16,000 blk of Hwy 12 near Akron, Iowa. On 05/31/2023 the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on a residence on Highway 3 near Diamond Ave in Plymouth County, Iowa.
