Breitbarth 10-50 PD

On Friday November 19th at 11:20 AM, officials were dispatched to 200th St east of K49 for an anhydrous tank in the ditch. Responding to the call was Le Mars Fire Rescue, Le Mars Police and the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office.

A 2017 Ford F250 owned by Central Valley Ag was west bound on 200th St pulling a double anhydrous tank to a field location. The tanks lost control and rolled into the south ditch. There was no damage to the truck and very minor damage to the tanks.

Stockton Towing and Le Mars Fire Rescue were able to safely remove the tanks from the ditch. After they had been checked by Le Mars Fire Rescue and CVA employees, they were towed from the scene. The truck was driven away.

200th St was closed for approximately 1 hour to ensure the tanks could be safely removed from the ditch.

The driver of the truck, Amanda Breitbarth, age 34 of rural Le Mars, was not injured and no citations were issued.
