Chaplain

At the present time, the Chaplain services are being provided to the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office by several individuals and/or agencies.

Pastor Jake Wulbecker from the Le Mars Bible Church is the Sheriff's Chaplain for the Plymouth County Sheriff's Office.

Jake is originally from Council Bluffs Iowa. He received a bachelor's degree in pastoral ministry from Grace University in 2010, and then a master's degree in theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 2014. After working as an associate pastor in Texas for three years, Jake moved to Le Mars in 2017 to serve at Le Mars Bible Church where he currently works as an associate pastor.

Alan DeJong representing the Gideons is providing bible study classes to the inmates on a weekly basis.

The Living Center from Le Mars is providing spiritual guidance to the female inmates of the Plymouth County Jail.  Several women from the Living Center are ministering on a weekly basis.
