Fischer arrested for OWI and PCS
On November 17, 2023 at approximately 11:53 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 75 & C-44 in Merrill, IA. During the stop the driver, Daniel J. Fischer, age 50 of Sioux City, Iowa, was believed to be under the influence while operating a motor vehicle. Daniel was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance and booked into the Plymouth County Jail for possession of a controlled substance and OWI 1st offense.
