Freymann arrested OWI 2nd/No DL/Failure to Maintain Control

On February 7, 2024 at approximately 22:58 hours, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Remsen Police Department on a vehicle in the ditch on L14 near 160th St.  The vehicle was described as a red 2012 Chevy pickup.  Plymouth County Deputies responded and the driver was identified as Stephen Matthew Freymann, age 40 of Sheldon, Iowa.  Freymann showed signs of impairment by an alcoholic beverage. Freymann was ultimately jailed and charged with failure to maintain control of a motor vehicle, no valid driver’s license, operating while under the influence 2nd offence, and operate without an interlock device.  Freymann did not have an interlock device on the motor vehicle he was operating, which he was required to have from a previous operating while intoxicated charge.  The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Remsen Police Department
