Lee arrested for PCS/Paraphernalia
On October 26, 2023 at approximately 12:16am, a traffic stop was conducted on a blue dodge ram in Hinton, Iowa. The driver was identified as Sombat Lee, age 45 of Sioux City, IA. During the traffic stop it was learned that Mr. Lee had a crystal like substance believed to be methamphetamine inside the vehicle. Also inside the vehicle, multiple pipes were found. Mr. Lee was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance (Iowa code 124.401) and possession of drug paraphernalia (Iowa code 124.414). He was transported to the Plymouth County Jail for booking. While at the Plymouth County Jail an OWI investigation was completed. Mr. Lee was booked into the Plymouth County Jail for Possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of contraband in a correctional institute.
