Maldonado arrested for OWI 1st, PCS and reckless driving

In the early hours of the morning of May 7, 2023, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received report of a reckless driver that was driving all over the road and striking the road dividers in a construction zone.  A deputy was able to located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Lucia Maldonado, age 51 of Jordan, Minnesota.  Through investigation, Maldonado was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was believed to be under the influence of a drug other than alcohol.  Ultimately, Maldonado was booked into the Plymouth County Jail for possession of a controlled substance 1^st offense, OWI 1^st offense, and reckless driving.
