McKinley arrested for DWLB/PCS and arrest on warrant

on 11/17/23 at 11:37 p.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on Hwy 12 south of Akron, Iowa.  As a result of the traffic stop William John McKinley, age 45 of Elk Point, South Dakota, was arrested and charged with driving while barred, possession of controlled substance – methamphetamine and possession of contraband in a correctional institution.  McKinley was also arrested on a Plymouth County warrant.  McKinley was booked into the Plymouth County Jail and held on bond.
