McPherson arrested for OWI/Child Endangerment/No DL

On 06/12/2023, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a single vehicle motor vehicle accident in the 16,000 blk of Hwy 12 near Akron, Iowa. Plymouth County Deputies arrived and investigated the scene. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Allison Marie McPherson, age 34 of Hawarden, Iowa. McPherson was placed under arrest and transported to the Plymouth County Jail. At the jail McPherson was charged with child endangerment, OWI 1st offense, failure to maintain control, leaving the scene of an injury accident, and driving without a valid driver’s license. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Akron Fire/ EMS crew.
