Norrod arrest on warrant
On 09/09/22 at 12:05 p.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Steven Matthew Norrod, age 27, on a valid Plymouth County warrant. The warrant is for criminal mischief 3rd degree (original charge) and violation of probation. Norrod was booked into the Plymouth County Jail and held on bond.

Hoonhorst arrested for DWLR
On 09/02/2022 a Donald Hoonhorst, age 44 of Le Mars, Iowa, drove himself to the Plymouth County Jail to serve a mittimus. Hoonhorst was found to have a revoked Iowa driver’s license due to OWI test failure. Hoonhorst was additionally charged with driving while license revoked.
Speed Enforcement Project
From August 18th to August 31st, the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office conducted targeted speed enforcement patrols. During that period five deputies worked a total of 32 hours on the project.
