Reynolds arrested for OWI/Open Container/No Valid DL

On 02/09/2022 the Plymouth County Sheriff’s office received a call about a red vehicle northbound on highway 75 that had entered the ditch and then re-entered the roadway several times. An officer with the Hinton Police Department was able to locate this vehicle northbound on Highway 75 and shortly after, the vehicle collided with a different motorist at the intersection of Highway 75 and C60. No injuries resulted from the motor vehicle crash.

The driver of the red car was identified as Troy Anthony Reynolds, Jr., age 28 of Winnebago, NE. Reynolds showed several signs of impairment and was found to be in possession of an open alcoholic container bottle. Reynolds was transported to the Plymouth County Jail and evaluated for impaired driving. Upon completion of the investigation, Reynolds was booked into the Plymouth County Jail for OWI 2nd offense, no valid driver’s license, failure to provide proof of financial responsibility, and open container. The Plymouth County Sheriff’s office was assisted by the Hinton Police Department.
