Rippe arrested for DWLB/Port arrested for Paraphernalia
On 03/05/2022 the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a motor vehicle on County Road K22 in Plymouth County, Iowa due to an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Kodi Jay Rippe, age 30 of Sioux City, Iowa. Rippe was found to have a barred Iowa driver’s license. Rippe was then placed under arrest. A search of the motor vehicle found a small glass jar containing a small amount of methamphetamine. Rippe was then transported to the Plymouth County Jail. At the jail, Rippe was evaluated by a drug recognition expert who confirmed him to be driving a motor vehicle under the influence of a drug other than alcohol. A passenger in the motor vehicle was identified as Terry Lee Port, age 52 of Le Mars, Iowa. Port was also placed under arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia and open container.
