Schmitt arrested for OWI 2nd/PCS/Parapheranlia

In the late evening hours on February 26, 2024 a Plymouth County Sheriff’s Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling 93 mph in a 55 mph zone.  The driver of the vehicle, Shelby Schmitt, was found to be operating on a suspended driver’s license.  Schmitt had an open container and showed signs of drug and alcohol related impairment.  Ultimately Schmitt was arrested and transported to the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office where he was charged with OWI 2nd offense, possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges.
