Weigel arrested for OWI/Open Container
On July 30, 2023 shortly before 10PM, a deputy with the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of K18-N and C43 for poor driving behavior and speed violations. The driver of the vehicle, Scott Weigel, age 55 of North Sioux City, showed signs of impairment and an OWI investigation began. Ultimately, Weigel was arrested for OWI 1st offense and possession of open container.
